A mineral oil in water emulsion suitable for removing dust and making a variety of materials resistant to water, including fiberglass and mineral wool products treated with phenol-formaldehyde resin.
In order to prevent the formation of fine dust and to make the glass wool or mineral wool resistant, we mix the OE-50/42 emulsion with phenol-aldehyde resin and other additives. Since the shelf life of the various mixtures depends on the composition of the phenol-aldehyde resins and additives, no general advice can be given on their compatibility.
OE-50/42 emulsion is used together with the binder.
Treatment of glass wool and mineral wool with OE-50/42 emulsion after drying and hardening is not recommended.
The water-repellent effect can be increased by adding SE 50-12 emulsion.
Safety-related information can be found on the safety data sheet, which our sales staff can provide upon request.
